Xbox Live is driving me nuts HELP PLEASE?!?
The other day I bought an xbox live card and I entered it in, check. Then I tried to go shopping to buy clothes for avatar and it said I didn't have enough points for something. I spent 20$ on a card AND I have points from playing games. Therefore I couldn't buy clothes then I was trying to add a user to my friends list and I guess I had my old e-mail and I couldn't be friends with people. So I went online and signed up and it has all my stuff at 0 when on my xbox and I can't change my e-mail. I'm Confused, yoga was easier than this. Thanks very much
The gamer points (achievements) you earn from games can't be used for anything. You have to buy Microsoft Points which are what are on those pre-paid cards or you can get them over Live with a credit card. If you bought a Gold pre-paid card, that's a subscription card, not a MS Points card. Also, if you made an account on xbox.com, you've made a separate account from the one on your 360.
