Is there a way to know if your motherboard is capable of modding xbox's before i purchase a VIA 6421A PCI card?
I heard some motherboards can do it, althought rare, i just wanted to see if there was a way to check before i purchase the pci card?
simple question please only post if you know what your talking about... Thank you very much in advance for people who do actually help me.

Well if you were going to control an electronic item through your computer that would be the card to do it with. The ability to alter the sata connections depends on how flexible your bios setup is so look for this when you are buying a mobo. The pci card you are buying will not influence your mobos flexibility in bios. Most Asus mobos should be fine. GL!
