I rode in Castle Crashers, when he locked up on me and right then I got RROD the terrifying (three red rings of death). What happened to my precious gaming system? I do not think it could happen to my 360, but I know now that the Xbox is really temperamental.
I gave my friend a ring on his cell phone and told him what is happening. He told me that he actually had the same problem and he waited a little over a month for Microsoft to take care of the problem. The red rings happen because of overheating which console gets very hot. Microsoft cares not even help you carry it back by sending a check to the system. So now you have a faulty console because of a faulty design, but you have to pay money for shipping costs to fix it!
Here are some tips that could simply keep your Xbox 360 from bankruptcy.
Tip # 1) The ventilation is also critical, so finding a place to vent your console is solid. If you find your Xbox 360 into an entertainment unit, move, too hot inside. Almost Overheating is the most important, try to move somewhere with better air flow.
Tip 2) If you have three red rings of death safest thing you need to do is to shut down the computer and go do something else, as it cools in an hour. Disconnect all cables and equipment in the console and move it somewhere cooler. When your system is cooled down to try to revive to see if it works again. I hope it can keep you functioning and prevents you from sending it to Microsoft.
